Tinted glass that hides daily wear
Wudy Kitchen
A smoke-tinted borosilicate glass teapot with a natural wood handle, sold alone or with matching cups.
Clear glass shows every tannin ring and fingerprint, so a teapot used every day starts to look tired within a week. This one is smoke-tinted borosilicate, which keeps that everyday wear out of sight while you can still watch the tea darken.
The glass is thickened, so it takes water straight from the kettle without crazing, and the wooden handle stays cool while the pot is full. At 13.5 fl oz (400 ml), it pours for one or two people.
Choose the teapot on its own, or add two or four matching cups for a small set. Warm the glass before the hot water goes in, and wash it by hand.
Rinse the pot with warm water before brewing. Hand-wash the glass in warm, soapy water and wipe the wooden handle with a damp cloth. Keep it out of the dishwasher.

That depends on the set you choose: Teapot Only has no cups, and the other two sets include two or four matching cups.
The tint is light, so you can still see the color of the brew as it steeps.
No. Hand-wash the glass and wipe the wooden handle with a damp cloth to protect the wood.
