No. Hand wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry immediately. Dishwasher detergent and heat will dull the edge and can damage the high-carbon stainless steel over time.
Hone the blade with a honing steel before each use to realign the edge. Store on a magnetic strip or in a knife block — never loose in a drawer. With proper care, the high-carbon steel maintains its edge for weeks before needing a full sharpen.
