How to Clean a Honeycomb Frying Pan Without Ruining the Texture
Let the pan cool, wash gently, dry fully. The texture works when oil and carbon do not bake into every cell.
ATP asks how to clean and how to use a honeycomb frying pan. The texture spreads oil in tiny cells. Cleaning is less about scrubbing hard and more about not letting residue cook into those cells day after day.

After cooking
Take the pan off heat and let it cool until warm, not cold-shocked under ice water. Wipe loose food, then wash with warm water and a soft sponge. Mild soap is fine for most textured stainless/titanium-style pans — check your product page if the brand asks for oil-only care.
What to avoid
Metal scouring pads that polish the texture flat, dishwasher cycles that leave hard-water film, and aerosol oven cleaner. If carbon builds up, a paste of baking soda and water with a nylon brush is usually enough — then rinse and dry fully on low heat.
How it differs from flat non-stick
Honeycomb is not the same as a soft PTFE sheet. Compare honeycomb vs traditional non-stick and know when to retire a worn non-stick pan. For stainless technique, see stainless vs non-stick.
