Description

Chopping herbs with a knife means gathering them back into a pile and going over them again, and the leaves bruise along the way.

These scissors carry five stainless steel blades side by side, so every snip makes five cuts. Chives, parsley, dill, and scallions come out in even pieces after a few squeezes, and you can cut straight over the pan, a salad, or a bowl of noodles without getting a board out.

Soft-grip handles stay steady when your hands are wet. A blade cover protects the edges in the drawer, and the included comb clears greens caught between the blades. They come boxed in four color combinations.

Five blades, one pass

Each squeeze slices a bunch of chives into five neat lengths, so a garnish that would take a minute of knife work is done in a few seconds. Gather the stems together, hold them at a slight angle to the blades, and snip in steady strokes. Nori strips for rice bowls work the same way.

A comb for between the blades

Herbs tend to wedge in the narrow gaps of a multi-blade tool. The comb's teeth line up with those gaps, so one pass pushes out the trapped greens before they dry. The fitted cover then slides over the blades, which keeps the edges sharp and your fingers safe when reaching into the drawer.
