These clips clamp the rim instead, so the clip holds the weight and your hand stays clear of the hot surface. The arms are nylon, with silicone at the contact points that grips a glazed rim rather than sliding on it. They suit rimmed plates, bowls, and steamer dishes.
Choose a silicone clip in red or green, or the all-stainless metal gripper. Each is sold singly. They are made for lifting dishes, not bare pan handles, so keep oven mitts for those.

What dishes can I lift?
Rimmed plates, bowls, and steamer dishes the jaws can clamp. Do not force a lift on a rim that is too thin, too thick, or oddly shaped.
Silicone or metal — which should I pick?
Silicone for plates and glazed bowls: the soft jaws grip without marking. Metal for heavier bowls and steamer dishes, where a rigid stainless jaw and its non-slip pad help. Both lift by the rim, never by a pan handle.
Which colours are available?
Silicone clips in Red or Green, or the Metal option — an all-stainless gripper. Each is sold as one clip; for two-handed lifts of a wide plate, add two to the cart or pick the bundle.
Does it replace oven mitts?
No. Keep mitts or a towel for pan handles, lids, and anything the jaws cannot hold securely.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Hand washing in warm, soapy water is recommended. Dry it fully around the hinge.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send a photo within 14 days of delivery and we replace it free. Anything later, write to us with a photo and we'll look at it case by case.
