Description

Coarse box graters pack hard cheese into the holes and leave a dense clump. For a light finish over pasta or salad you need fine, sharp teeth on a long, flat surface.

This flat paddle grater has photo-etched stainless steel teeth that shave hard cheese, chocolate, citrus zest, garlic, and nutmeg into a fluffy pile. Hold it over the plate or a board and draw the food along its length. The slim shape hangs on a hook or slides into a drawer.

Choose a long slim paddle at 15" (38.5 cm) or 13" (33.3 cm), the wider 12" × 2.5" (31 × 6.5 cm) paddle, or the 3-Pack to keep one by the stove and one at the table. Rinse it soon after grating cheese, and dry the teeth fully.
