Description

Knives loose in a drawer knock against each other, and that rolls an edge long before cutting does. This rack lays each blade flat across its own pair of pegs, so no knife touches another.

It stands on the counter as an A-frame instead of clamping to a wall or taking up the footprint of a full block. The knives face you, so you lift out the one you meant to take.

Choose dark ebony or pale pine. Knives are not included. Wipe it with a damp cloth after use and let it dry before the blades go back on.

Materials & Care
Solid wood, in dark ebony or pale pine, with turned pegs that hold each blade clear of the next. The wood feels smooth and dry to the touch. A monthly coat of food-safe mineral oil keeps the finish from fading.
Shipping & Returns
Complimentary standard shipping to the United States and United Kingdom, with no minimum spend. Orders are prepared within 1–3 business days. US delivery is typically 5–10 business days after dispatch, UK 6–10 business days.

Blades lie flat and apart

Blades lie flat and apart

Instead of dropping into narrow slots where the edge can scrape wood, each knife rests across two turned pegs with space above and below. The edge touches nothing, and you can see the whole blade at once. Wider and narrower knives both fit, since nothing is cut to a fixed slot size.

The A-frame shape stands on its own, so there is no drilling and no wall space to give up. It takes less room than a block and keeps the handles angled toward you. Dark ebony suits darker counters, while pale pine is lighter in tone and weight.
