Description
Small cubes melt quickly and water down a whiskey or cocktail before you are halfway through it. Large cubes have less surface for their size, so they chill more slowly and dilute less.
This food-grade silicone tray freezes big square cubes and comes with a black lid that limits freezer odors and spills. Flex the tray and the cubes pop out cleanly. It also works for portions of stock, coffee, or chopped herbs in oil.
Choose 4, 6, 8, or 15 grids, then a single tray or a 2-pack so one can freeze while you use the other. Fill, cover, and freeze flat.

Bigger cubes, slower melt
A single large cube in a rocks glass keeps a drink cold for longer than a handful of small ones, and it leaves the flavor closer to how it was poured. The 4- and 6-grid trays make the largest cubes, while the 8- and 15-grid trays give you more per freeze for pitchers and iced coffee.
Covered, flexible tray
The fitted lid sits over the grid so the water does not pick up smells from nearby food and nothing spills when you slide the tray onto a shelf. When the ice is solid, bend the silicone and push from underneath; each cube releases without a knife or warm water.
