Heat-buffer sleeve
Wudy Kitchen
Heat-resistant polyester sleeves that slide over pan handles for a steadier grip on the stovetop, sold as a pair.
A hot metal pan handle breaks your rhythm: you grab a towel, fumble with a mitt, or stand and wait for it to cool.
These heat-resistant polyester sleeves slide over handles up to 1.75" (4.5 cm) across, so you can lift and move the pan with a steadier grip during stovetop cooking. They slow the heat down rather than block it, so after a long, hot cook a sleeve can warm through. Check it before a bare-hand lift.
They come as a 2-pack in black, dark blue, light blue or yellow. Keep them away from open flame, and pull them off to wash whenever they get soiled.
Remove the sleeves and wash them when soiled, then let them air dry. Keep them away from open flame. If a sleeve feels hot after long high-heat cooking, use a mitt.
