Press to seal out the air
Wudy Kitchen
A clear borosilicate glass coffee jar with a press-button vacuum lid that seals beans away from air between brews.
Coffee goes stale in an open bag between brews, and a clip does little to keep the air out.
This storage jar uses a manual vacuum seal. Fill it with beans, seat the lid, and press the gold button on top to draw air out of the jar. Press again when you want to release the seal and open it. With less air on the beans, they keep more of their aroma until the next grind.
The clear borosilicate glass shows how much is left, and the matte black lid with its gold accent looks neat on a coffee station. Choose 17 fl oz (500 ml), 30 fl oz (900 ml), or 1.9 qt (1.8 L). It also works for tea and other dry pantry staples.
Hand-wash the glass and lid with mild soap, rinse, and dry fully before sealing. Do not fill past the seal line, and avoid abrasive scrubbers on the lid.
