Description

Parchment curls up, slides around and runs out in the middle of a batch, and greasing the pan still leaves sticky patches to scrub.

This food-safe silicone mat is about 0.4 mm thick (about 0.7 mm on the small gray mat) and lies flat on the pan as a nonstick surface for cookies, pastries and sheet-pan dinners. Most bakes release without grease, and the mat wipes clean afterward.

It comes in gray or red, with a matte or plain finish, in sizes from 8" × 8" (20 × 20 cm) up to 16.5" × 11.5" (42 × 29.5 cm). Pick the one that fits inside your pan, and you have a liner to rinse and reuse every time you bake.
