Why the set
A lift-out insert
Wudy Kitchen
A clear olive and pickle jar with a lid and a lift-out strainer insert that raises the fruit out of the brine.
Fishing olives out of a jar with a fork drips brine across the counter, and the last few always hide at the bottom where the fork cannot reach.
This strainer jar holds about 25 fl oz (750 ml). A lift-out insert sits inside, so you raise the olives or pickles out of the liquid, take what you need and lower the insert back into the brine.
Fill it with store-bought olives or your own fridge pickles and keep it in the fridge door. It is handy for cheese boards, cocktail garnishes and anyone who reaches for a pickle with lunch.
Hand-wash the jar and insert, then dry the threads and lid area. Avoid harsh abrasives on the clear walls.
