Why the set
Long and thin for one-draw slices
Wudy Kitchen
A long Damascus-pattern slicing knife with a thin 40Cr13 stainless blade and a red sandalwood handle.
A thick blade drags through a roast and tears at fish instead of parting it. This slicer is just 0.09" (2.3 mm) at the spine, thin enough to glide through without you pushing.
It is about 12.5" (32 cm) overall, a length that crosses a brisket or a side of salmon in a single draw, so slices stay even because you never restart the cut. The steel is 40Cr13 stainless with a Damascus pattern etched into the face, and the handle is red sandalwood.
At about 11 oz (310 g), the weight sits in your palm rather than at the tip. Hand-wash and dry it after each use.
Hand-wash and dry immediately after use, and store in a dry place. Do not use it on bones or frozen food.
