Why the set
A thin grind that slices cleanly
Wudy Kitchen
A thin-ground Japanese stainless steel chef knife with a wooden handle shaped for a pinch grip.
Blade length changes what a knife is good at more than anything else about it. At 6.5" (16.5 cm), the tip stays under control for detail work; at 8.5" (21 cm), you cross a cabbage in one stroke. A 7" (18 cm) blade sits in between.
The steel is Japanese stainless, ground thin so it parts an onion instead of wedging it apart, and it keeps that edge through a week of daily prep. The wooden handle is shaped to sit in a pinch grip behind the bolster.
Hand-wash and dry it straight away, and hone it between sessions to keep the thin edge true.
Hand-wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry immediately. Hone between sessions and use a whetstone when the edge slips. Store it in a knife block or on a magnetic strip.

Why the set
The 180 mm (7") blade suits most home cooks. Choose 165 mm (6.5") for a lighter, more nimble knife, or 210 mm (8.5") for larger ingredients and boards.
No. Hand-wash with warm water and mild soap and dry it right away to protect the edge and the wooden handle.
When it starts to slip on tomato skin or needs extra pressure, take it to a whetstone. Regular honing in between keeps the edge aligned.
The knife is offered in three lengths only. A left-handed option is not listed.
