Why the set
Everything you need in the box
Wudy Kitchen
A stainless steel mandoline with a thickness dial and two julienne inserts for even slices and neat matchsticks.
Even slices by knife take practice and time. When potatoes for a gratin or vegetables for a tray bake vary in thickness, some pieces burn while others stay firm.
This stainless steel mandoline gives the same thickness on every pass. A side dial sets flat slices from paper-thin up to 9 mm, and two inserts switch it to julienne at 4.5 mm or 9 mm for fries and slaw. The ridged runway keeps food tracking straight, and a fold-out stand holds it at an angle over a bowl.
A cut-resistant glove and a cleaning brush come in the box. Wear the glove every time, since the blade is very sharp, and finish small ends with a knife.
Set the stand on a stable counter and always wear the cut-resistant glove. Rinse the runway and blades after use, brush the julienne teeth clean, and hand-wash with mild soap. Dry fully before folding the stand.
