Tensioned wire grid
Wudy Kitchen
A 2-in-1 egg slicer with stainless steel wires that slices or wedges peeled hard-boiled eggs cleanly.
Cutting a boiled egg with a knife tends to crush the white and smear the yolk across the board, leaving uneven pieces for your salad or sandwich.
This two-in-one slicer has stainless steel wires over two stations: a slicing bed for rounds and a wedging station for wedges. Set a cooled, peeled egg in the cradle and press the wires down in one motion for clean, even pieces.
It suits anyone making egg salad, packed lunches or deviled egg platters. Keep it to soft foods, since dense produce can stretch or snap the wires. Choose White, Black or Red.
Let the egg cool fully and peel away every bit of shell. Place it in the cradle and press the wires through in one smooth motion, using the slicing side for rounds and the wedge side for wedges.
Rinse the wires promptly, hand-wash with a soft brush and dry fully. Hand-washing helps the wires keep their tension.
