Why the set
Conical burrs for an even grind
Wudy Kitchen
A manual hand-crank coffee grinder with stainless steel conical burrs and an adjustable grind setting.
A blade grinder chops rather than grinds, so you get fine dust and coarse chunks in the same basket. The dust over-extracts and makes the cup taste bitter.
This hand grinder uses stainless steel conical burrs that crush beans to the size you set. Dial it coarser for a French press or finer for pour-over. Turning it by hand means no noise early in the morning and nothing to plug in.
It grinds enough for one or two cups at a time and packs into its carry pouch, which suits travel, the office and anyone brewing a cup or two at home.
Brush the burrs out after use rather than rinsing them, and do not soak the assembly. Store it dry in the pouch.

Why the set
Why the set
Expect about a minute of steady turning for a single-cup dose. It is quiet, easy effort.
It is set up for pour-over, drip and French press. For a very fine espresso grind, start medium-fine and adjust to test.
Burrs crush beans to a consistent size, while blades chop randomly into fine dust and coarse bits together.
Brush the burrs out after use and keep the grinder dry; do not rinse or soak it.
