Why the set
Ceramic grinding burr
Wudy Kitchen
An acacia wood spice mill with a ceramic burr and adjustable grind for peppercorns or salt, sold singly or in pairs.
Pre-ground pepper loses its aroma in the jar, and a metal grinder can corrode once salt gets into the mechanism.
This spice mill pairs an acacia hardwood body with a ceramic grinding burr, so it handles whole peppercorns or salt. Turn the knob on top to set the grind, from a coarse crack for steak to a fine table finish.
Choose a single mill, or a pair so pepper and salt each get their own. Fill it with dry whole spices only, wipe the body rather than washing it, and keep the burr dry.
Fill with dry whole peppercorns or salt only. Wipe the body dry rather than washing it, and brush out the mechanism if it starts to feel stiff.
