Why the set
Clear borosilicate glass
Wudy Kitchen
A borosilicate glass teapot with a built-in glass filter and a wood grip, sized for two or three cups.
Loose leaf tea is easy to over-steep when you cannot see it, and fishing leaves out of a cup is never pleasant.
This borosilicate glass teapot lets you watch the color deepen, so you can pour when it looks right rather than waiting for a timer. A filter built into the glass keeps the leaves back as you pour, and the wood grip, in black or brown, lets you lift the pot with one hand.
It holds about 27 fl oz (800 ml), enough for two or three cups of green tea or oolong. Wash it by hand and let it cool before rinsing.
Hand-wash in warm water with mild soap and skip abrasive pads. Let the glass cool before rinsing if it has just been filled with very hot water. Dry the wood grip after washing.
