Why the set
Heat-resistant borosilicate
Wudy Kitchen
A borosilicate glass teapot with a lift-out glass infuser and a wood handle, so you can watch every steep unfold.
In an opaque pot you are guessing, pulling the leaves on a timer and hoping it worked out. Through borosilicate glass you can watch the color deepen and stop the steep when it looks right.
The glass infuser lifts straight out, so the brew stops getting stronger the moment you remove it. At 1.3 qt (1.2 L), the pot pours four or five cups without a second trip to the kettle, and the wood handle stays comfortable to hold through a full pot.
Choose smoky gray or clear glass. Warm the pot with hot water before you add water just off the boil, and wash it by hand.
Pre-warm with warm water before a boiling pour, and never add ice-cold liquid to a hot pot. Hand-wash the glass and infuser. Check for chips before each use.
