Why the set
A 10" (26 cm) working length
Wudy Kitchen
A chef knife forged in 67 layers with a Damascus pattern and a resin-stabilized wood handle for long, clean strokes.
A short blade means two strokes where one would do, and the second stroke is where the slice goes crooked. At 10" (26 cm), this chef knife crosses an onion or a chicken breast in a single pass.
The steel is forged in 67 layers, which shows as the Damascus pattern along the face. The handle is wood stabilized with resin, so it resists swelling or shifting as the kitchen warms and cools, and it stays secure when your hands are wet.
It suits cooks who do a lot of slicing and want reach on the board. Hand-wash and dry it, and run it over a honing rod when the edge starts to push instead of cut.
Hand-wash with mild soap and dry immediately; never use the dishwasher. Hone between sessions and use a whetstone when the edge slips. Avoid bone, frozen food and glass boards.

Why the set
Why the set
No. Layer count shapes the visual pattern; cutting performance comes from the edge, the geometry and how you maintain it.
No. Heat and detergent dull the edge and can mark the pattern and handle, so hand-wash and dry it.
No. Use a cleaver or shears for bone, and keep this blade for produce and boneless protein.
It is longer than a standard 8" chef knife and is easiest to use on a full-size board. It suits cooks who slice large roasts, melons or cabbages often.
