Scrubbing without bristles
Wudy Kitchen
A bristle-free grill cleaning stone that scrubs baked-on grease off warm grates and griddles, with no wires to shed.
Wire grill brushes can shed metal bristles that stick to the grate and end up in food. Baked-on grease still needs something firm to scrub it away.
This gray grill cleaning stone has no bristles at all. Rub the abrasive block over a warm grate, and it scrapes off baked-on grease and char. As you work, the stone wears to the shape of the bars, so it reaches into the grooves where residue builds up.
Use it on charcoal and gas grill grates and on flat griddles once cooking is done and the heat has come down from high. Wear a glove, scrub along the bars, and wipe away the residue. Replace the stone once it is too thin to grip safely.
Knock loose debris off after use, rinse if needed, and air-dry. Keep it dry between cooks, and do not use it on glass cooktops.

Why the set
While it is still warm after cooking, hot enough to loosen grease but cool enough to handle with a glove.
It has no wire bristles, so there is nothing to break off onto the grate. Still wipe the grate after scrubbing.
Yes, it works on flat cast iron and steel griddles. Do not use it on glass cooktops.
It wears down with use. Replace it when it is too thin or crumbly to hold comfortably.
