Description

A thin pot is cold by the second cup. This one has a thick ceramic wall, so the heat stays in the pot instead of escaping into the room, and the 27 fl oz (800 ml) holds enough for three or four cups.

The brass handle is set away from the body, so less heat travels from the wall to your hand. A raised mountain relief runs around the outside and gives your fingers something to hold when the pot is full.

It suits green tea in the morning through to an herbal brew at night. Warm the pot with hot water before you brew, and wash it by hand in warm water with mild soap.

Holds heat through the pot

Thick ceramic takes longer to warm, then releases that heat slowly back into the tea. Preheating the pot with hot water before you add the leaves helps the last cup stay nearly as warm as the first. It pours three or four cups.
