1.6 L · borosilicate glass · gold-tone lid
Hot tea in winter, iced fruit infusions in summer. One amber pitcher, all year.
A tall ribbed pitcher in warm amber glass makes even plain water look like an occasion. Fill it with lemon and mint for the table, or brew a large pot of tea for everyone at once.
It is made from borosilicate glass, the kind that handles boiling water and quick changes in temperature, and it can sit on a gas flame to keep tea warm. The gold-tone lid has a strainer collar under it, so slices and leaves stay in the pitcher while you pour.
Not included: cups and tray shown in photos.
Let the glass cool before washing and rinse with warm water. Avoid pouring cold water into a hot pot or setting it down on a cold, wet surface straight from the heat. Hand wash for the longest life. Use low to medium flame only, and never heat the pitcher empty.
