Why the set
Glass made for hot water
Wudy Kitchen
An embossed borosilicate glass teapot with a wooden handle that serves about four cups of tea at once.
Ordinary glass teapots can crack when boiling water hits cold glass, which makes them feel risky for everyday use.
This one is borosilicate, the type of glass made to handle that jump in temperature, so it takes water straight off the kettle. It holds 1.1 qt (1 L), enough for about four cups, so one pot goes around the table instead of a single mug.
The embossed surface catches the light and gives your hand some grip, and the wooden handle stays comfortable while the pot is full. It stands about 7" (18 cm) tall and 4.5" (12 cm) across. Choose smoky gray, gray, or clear.
Hand-wash with warm water and a soft sponge. Skip abrasive scrubbers. Never set the pot over direct heat, empty or full.
