Description

This 304 stainless steel grater sits on a silicone anti-slip base, so it stays put while you push the cheese across it. A built-in scraper clears shreds from the teeth between passes.
At 12.5" (31 cm) long it spans a bowl, keeping the shavings where you want them. Use it for hard cheese, citrus zest, ginger, garlic and chocolate. Hand-wash in warm soapy water, dry it right away, then hang it by the handle loop or lay it flat in a drawer.

Stays put while you grate
The silicone pad along the base grips the counter or the rim of a bowl, so the grater does not skid when you press down. Both hands can stay on the work, one steadying the frame and one moving the cheese, which makes grating Parmesan or zesting a lemon quicker.
Built-in scraper
Soft cheese and zest tend to pack into the teeth and blunt the next stroke. The scraper built into the grater pushes those shreds out so you can keep going, and it gathers what is left into the bowl rather than leaving it stuck to the steel.
