Description
A spread needs somewhere for the things that will not sit still, such as olives, dips and pickles. This round bamboo board has three ceramic bowls set into it, so those stay put instead of crowding the table in separate dishes.
Four stainless steel cheese knives live in a drawer under the board, which means the whole thing goes from cabinet to table in one lift. It is about 13" (33 cm) across and 2" (5 cm) deep with the drawer.
The bowls come in black or white. Hand-wash the board and dry it flat; the bowls can go in the dishwasher.

Three bowls set into the board
Wet or loose foods like hummus, honey and marinated olives each get their own ceramic bowl. The bowls sit in recesses in the bamboo, so they do not slide when someone reaches across. Lift them out to refill or to wash.
Knives stored underneath
A drawer below the serving surface holds four stainless steel cheese knives. Pull it open when you set out the board, and slide the cleaned knives back in afterward. The set stays complete from one gathering to the next, with nothing to track down.
